Neu Health Announces Key Appointments to its Board of Directors

London, UK, 24 October 2023 – Neuhealth Digital (‘Neu Health’), an innovative neurology healthtech spinout from the University of Oxford, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr John Glaser as Non-Executive Chair of the Board of Directors and Sean Slovenski as Non-Executive Director, effective immediately.

Dr John Glaser, Non-Executive Chair of the Board of Directors:

We are delighted to welcome Dr John Glaser as the newly appointed Chairman of the Board at Neu Health.

With over 35 years of extensive experience in the healthcare technology industry, John has held prominent roles as the CEO of Siemens Health Services, Senior Vice President of Population Health at Cerner, and VP and Chief Information Officer at Partners Healthcare.

He also serves as an Executive-in-Residence at Harvard Medical School, was formerly on the faculty of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and is a Board Member for various digital health companies.

John's contributions include founding the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) and serving as the past-president of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). He has held leadership positions in the American Telemedicine Association (ATA) and the Global Agenda Council on Digital Health at the World Economic Forum. Furthermore, he was a Senior Advisor to the US Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology.

John is also a board member for the Scottsdale Institute, the ATA, Carleton Willard Village, and the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Recognized with multiple industry awards, including the John P. Glaser Innovation Award (at the School of Biomedical Informatics, University of Texas Health Sciences Center) and the William B. Stead Thought Leadership Award (American Medical Informatics Association), his visionary leadership and strategic acumen will be instrumental in guiding Neu Health through a dynamic phase of growth and innovation. 

Sean Slovenski, Independent Non-Executive Director:

We are equally thrilled to welcome Sean Slovenski as our Independent Non-Executive Director. Sean is a renowned healthcare industry innovator, having held significant positions such as President of Walmart Health and Wellness and President of Health & Productivity Solutions at Humana.

His leadership includes roles as President of Population Health for Sharecare, CEO of Care Innovations (a joint venture of Intel and GE Healthcare), and co-founder and CEO of Hummingbird Coaching Services (subsequently acquired by Humana).

Sean has received notable industry recognitions, such as Healthcare Leader of the Year by the US Chamber of Commerce in 2015 and being named one of the Top 100 most influential people in healthcare in 2019 by Modern Health Magazine. His insights and expertise will be invaluable to our board as we continue to expand Neu Health's presence in the United States.
