World Parkinson’s Day: Celebrating our Neu Health Community

This World Parkinson’s Day, we’re reflecting on the incredible community that continues to shape everything we do at Neu Health - making Parkinson’s and dementia care accessible for all.

Neu Health Celebration Day 2025

Last week, we hosted a special event to celebrate the people at the heart of our work — individuals living with Parkinson’s and their loved ones. Through focus groups, user testing, and pioneer programmes, this community has been instrumental in shaping Neu Health from the very beginning. Collectively, participants have contributed more than 700 hours of co-design input, helping to build and refine the platform we have today.

As a result, Neu Health now supports:

• 1,000+ users

• 100,000+ medications acknowledged

• The largest global dataset of 'aaahs' – with over 123 hours of voice activities captured

• App engagement totalling more than 190 years of patient support

During the event, we gave our community an exclusive preview of upcoming developments. Their thoughtful feedback will directly guide how we continue to evolve our platform and engage with both patients and caregivers.

Paul Mayhew-Archer

We were honoured to be joined by Paul Mayhew-Archer MBE, one of the Movers and Shakers, who celebrated the strength and warmth of the Parkinson’s community we’re building — and the opportunity for technology to drive meaningful improvements in care.

Throughout the day, we heard powerful reflections. One individual shared how, after 15 years of living with Parkinson’s, it can be easy to feel frustrated and lose hope — but that being involved in work like this had reignited their motivation. Another described the sense of inclusion and respect they’d experienced through Neu Health, and how meaningful it was to finally feel seen and heard. A caregiver spoke about the comfort of connecting with others who share similar experiences, and how special it was to share the day with her mum. Others reflected on the tangible difference our technology is making in their lives, and how reassuring it is to know that their contributions are driving real-world impact.

One message we received after the event captured the sentiment beautifully:
